Diagnosed a production reindex downtime problem misattributed to Elasticsearch. Evaluated Algolia, Typesense, OpenSearch Serverless, and Elastic Cloud — concluded no migration needed. Designed and implemented an alias-swap reindex pipeline with drift detection, cursor-based resume, and crash recovery on the existing AWS OpenSearch managed clusters.
